Job Alert: Urologist
BRAVE Staffing Services is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist to provide full-time clinical and surgical care at the VA Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) in Fresno, CA. This role supports Veterans by delivering comprehensive urologic services in both inpatient and outpatient settings under a federal contract.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including urology consults, outpatient visits, and inpatient rounds
- Perform urologic surgeries, procedures, and specialty exams
- Participate in call coverage (evenings, weekends, and holidays)
- Collaborate with VA clinical teams and ensure compliance with VA protocols
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation within the VA’s electronic health record (EHR) system
- Attend staff, quality, and morbidity/mortality meetings as required
Qualifications:
- M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited medical school
- Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory
- Board Certified in Urology (ABU)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent urology practice
- Eligible for VA credentialing and privileging
- DEA license and NPI required
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- On-call rotations for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Employment Type:
- Contract / Full-Time (40 hrs per week + on-call coverage)
Compensation:
- Competitive hourly rate based on experience and federal contract guidelines.
